Cameron and Dave had a good understanding of what makes a user-friendly website. After discussing the problems they encountered while searching for that cabin on the lake, they knew that "there had to be a better way". After a few months of research and development, LakePlace.com was conceived. 

A couple of years ago, LakePlace.com co-founders Dave Gooden and Cameron Henkel were searching for their own perfect family cabins "up north.
