Cameron Henkel and Dave Gooden had a good understanding of what makes a user-friendly website. After discussing the problems they encountered while searching for that cabin on the lake, they knew that "there had to be a better way." After a few months of research and development, LakePlace.com was conceived.

A couple of years ago, the two men were searching for their own perfect family cabins "up north." They found that most real estate companies had their own websites, but they wanted something better.
