Where did you grow up? What was it like?
I was born and raised in St. Paul, MN - the youngest of five girls. My Dad taught me to fish and hunt as he had no sons so I grew up being a nature lover and a treehugger. I attended St. Bernard's High then completed my studies in Business, Art and Design, and Health and Wellness at both Anoka Ramsey and North Hennepin Community Colleges.

Why do you live in the Brainerd Lakes area? What do you like most about it?
I am third generation of family visiting the Fifty Lakes - Cross Lake area and started coming up here at the age of six. I have some wonderful childhood memories of the area and of family vacations every year since childhood. We finally purchased our vacation home here in 2000, recently sold our home in Rogers, MN and became full time residents in 2011. We enjoy the lakes so very much with all there is to offer including the beautiful evening sunsets, being surrounded by nature, and the peace and quiet of the area.

What is your favorite lake? Why?
Eagle Lake is by far my favorite because I know where all the hot fishing spots are since I have been fishing on the lake since childhood. My second choice would be the Whitefish Chain for fun and excitement.

What is your favorite part of working in Real Estate?
I thoroughly enjoy working in real estate because I love working with people and enjoy making their dreams come true.

What is the most unusual thing you have encountered while working in Real Estate?
The most unique sale for me was a home with over 7000 SF with a lake view, on five acres in Monticello, which I sold in 2011. I am also experienced in HUD homes, short sales, and foreclosures. I absolutely LOVE traditional sales. Just about everything I encounter in real estate is unique, though.
