My great grandfather was caretaker and fishing guide on Burt Lake. I am trying to get more info re my grandfathers schooling etc. their name was Harvey and Viola AuFrance-son Charlie they lived 1/2 mile at most from lake I have many memories of Burt Lake as a child trying to determine if gr. grandma was indian as she looked it-a canoe was filled with flowers and placed on porch when she passed what does this mean? Any help would be appreciated. I have pictures of Gr. grampa and cottages and fishing boat he took groups out. thank you!
