THE MOOSE DROP INN on Maple Lake just 4 miles northwest out of Buffalo, Minnesota and only 45 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.

Maple Lake is 800 Acres of water with 9 foot Clarity and a Depth of 75 feet.

Your cabin will have 150 ft of sandy shoreline, 3 BR, 1 BA and sleeps 6. The couches are so cozy and comfy you might end up sleeping eight; The lakeside deck is so large you can have a party just right there.

This get-away is an extraordinary vacation destination! Just 30 minutes from the western suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. You'll find our beautiful log home tucked amongst 1.3 acres of mature pines and hardwoods. Your up-north fantasies become reality at the Moose Drop Inn. You're on a secluded end of Maple Lake - known for plenty of good fishing, as well as for being an outstanding all-around recreational lake. It really is the perfect spot to get away from it all while enjoying the comforts of home, plus a few extras.

If you require privacy - this is it! The large living room is done in knotty-pine and is decorated in a rustic cabin motif. It has vaulted ceilings and unsurpassed views of the lake. The home has many unique "up-north" features, mounts and antiques - all adding to it's relaxed charm. (Did you note the picture of the Moose head guarding the entrance?).

Loads of comfortable seating around the fireplace will tempt you to stay inside - if that's possible. The kitchen has everything a great cook needs to prepare the catch of the day. You have your choice of the spacious dining area or joining the cook at the breakfast bar.

Amenities include central air/heat, a gas grill, a game table, player piano, and a washer/dryer for your convenience.

When not in the water, you'll enjoy spending time socializing on the expansive walk-out deck, or having a quiet evening around the fire pit. The large lot not only offers premium privacy - you are provided with a volley ball net and other yard games. The level, groomed beach area (down a thirty step multi-tiered staircase) is 150 feet - perfect for splashing with the kids or to sit and ponder life's mysteries.

Our canoe, kayak and rowboat await your use and lake exploration. (Sorry can't let you use the Boston Whaler speed boat - but feel free to BYOB.)

Your dog will require a extra safety deposit and need to be hypoallergenic to come along.
