The cabin home rests gracefully on beautiful water - Maple Lake...800 acres w/9 foot clarity/75 foot depth, known for great fishing and outstanding all-around water recreation. The lake has three unique bays, reeds, lily pads, frogs, loons, eagles, birds galore. The cabin is on the secluded NE bay and has 150 feet of sandy shoreline - perfect for splashing, building sand castles, launching boats, or basking. The dock, canoe, kayak and rowboat await your use. The lake is scenic and calls to be explored. (Feel free to BYO boat or a pontoon/jet ski can be rented.)


The overall location is the best... located just 4 miles northwest of quaint yet developed Buffalo, Minnesota (an antique hot spot) and just 55 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. It's close-in, easy on gas, convenient to everything, down-towns, airports, Mall of America, your jobs, friends and relatives, shopping...all of Minnesota. And yet it is a perfect getaway spot.


The natural setting and home are also beautiful and so real… a wonderful log home is tucked among 1.3 acres of mature pines, hardwoods and gardens. The up-north fantasies become reality. The cabin's interior has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath and sleeps 6 or 7. The great room living room is done in knotty-pine, has vaulted ceilings and unsurpassed views of the lake. The 3 couches (and entire spot) are so comfy your friends will want to spend the night; Unique "up-north" features - all add to its relaxed charm. The entire cabin has recently been re-carpeted, un-cluttered, and the bathroom refreshed. Towels, dishes, everything a cook needs to prepare the catch of the day, and linens are provided.


Regarding activities… they are a plenty. Spend that relaxed time just socializing the way you dream of. Take a walk, a trip to Lake Maria State Park or Albertville Outlets, explore our favorites the town of Maple Lake or local flea markets. Or a rest in the hammock might be enjoyable, too. The large lot not only offers premium privacy, you are provided with a volley ball net and other yard games. Plenty of comfortable seating will tempt you. Choose from the dining area, the card table, the breakfast bar, the deck, the LR fireplace couches or on a tractor seat at outdoor fire ring at night… Come enjoy.


Amenities… central air/heat, a gas grill, games like Scrabble, our player piano, Direct TV, DVD, ample off street quest parking, and a washer/dryer. Your dog will require an extra safety deposit and need to be hypoallergenic/approved. No cats please. Times as arranged.
