This cabin is just a hop, skip and a jump from the lake. Stroll out onto the dock. Cast a line and you'll catch a fish. Jump in and you'll have a refreshing swim in one of the cleanest lakes in Minnesota. (You can walk out a long ways before it puts off!) Pull out the canoe and paddle away. Enjoy your dinner on the beautiful cedar deck, using the gas grill. All the dish, pots and pans and spices are ready for your use. Move into the screen porch sit on the swing and watch the birds at the feeder.
Inside you'll find a living room with a huge fireplace, wood to burn is stacked by the garage, a dining room, kitchen, bedroom, and newly remodeled bathroom on the main floor. Climb the stairs to the loft and find 2 queen beds, 1 double bed, and 3 single beds, enough for your whole family! Plenty of towels and bedding provided!
You don't have to leave your electronics behind! You will find an internet connection, phone, two TV's and two DVD players.
Got kids? Your kids will love the playhouse in the back yard. It has entertained kids in our family for 3 generations! Drag out some of the board games, jigsaw puzzles and books to enjoy with your children.
Like to golf? Golfers can choose from five course within a ten mile radius!
Like to walk? Lake Carlos State Park is right behind our property. Hikers can enjoy over 14 miles of well-maintained trails that wind through mature hadwood forest, wetlands and rolling prairie. Join the trail just down the road from the cabin.
Our family uses this cabin much of the summer. We rent it out spring, fall, and a few weeks in the summer, including everybody's favorite week, Resorters Golf Tournament week, August 2 - 9 when the price for the week is $1100!
