Our beautiful chalet-style lake home sits on quiet, great-fishing (abundant walleyes, northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, crappie, bluegills) Upper Bottle Lake. With plenty of privacy, this is the perfect place for a family summer vacation or fishing get-away!
Outdoors: Over 200 feet of private lakefront, with mature red pines and gorgeous sunset views. Large lawn complete with hammock, lawn furniture, and stone fire-pit/patio for relaxing outdoor time. Stairs lead from the front lawn down to the dock. Weber Genesis gas grill is ready to use. On the lift and available for rent during your stay is a 2006 Lund Outfitter SS 17' fishing boat with a 50-hp Mercury 4-stroke motor. We let our guests use the Lund for $420/week (compare to other boat rentals available in the area that start at over $500 for similar boats with smaller motors).
Indoors: Custom-built home features gorgeous pine walls, large windows, and an open floor plan. There are vaulted ceilings over two proper bedrooms, plus an open loft space -- all three with queen beds. One bedroom also includes a crib (there is also a pack-n-play and toys for the little ones). Beautiful hardwood floors lead to a large dining and living room that with a Sony flatscreen TV and DVD player. There is a queen-size air-bed that can be set up in the living room, as well. Two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, and commercial-grade eat-in kitchen. All bedding, towels, and kitchen gear is included ... just show up and enjoy. If you want to stay connected, high-speed wireless internet and landline phone are included. Attached two-car garage.
Area: The lake is quiet, with great distances between the lots, and light water traffic, even in mid-summer. It is about 4 miles from Emmaville, and 5 minutes from the great little dining town of Dorset. Bigger towns are also within a short drive: Nevis (10 minutes), Park Rapids (15 minutes), Walker (30 minutes), Bemidji (40 minutes). Many other lakes within just a few minutes, including Mantrap, Emma, Stocking, Little Sand and Big Sand. Lake Itasca and the Mississippi Headwaters Park is about 20 minutes away.
Pricing of $12,000 for season assumes summer months of June-August.
