About 39670 W Tahquamenon River

A Rare 360-Acre East Branch Thaquamenon River Retreat - The Former Buckhorn Lodge Once known as the Buckhorn Lodge, this remarkable property carries a piece of Upper Peninsula history along with something increasingly difficult to find-approximately 360 acres of private land and 350 feet of frontage on the East Branch of the Tahquamenon River. Made up of three parcels, the property offers an incredible setting for hunting, fishing, exploring, or simply getting away from it all. At the heart of it is a character-filled cabin with a beautiful wood interior, live-edge wood details on the exterior and a metal roof. The warmth of the wood and rustic craftsmanship feel right at home in this secluded UP setting. The cabin offers three sleeping areas, including a spacious loft, along with one bath and plenty of room to gather after a day in the woods or on the river. For the hunter and fisherman, it's hard to imagine a better playground-hundreds of acres of your own land to explore and the Tahquamenon River right outside your door. For a family, it could become the kind of retreat where traditions are created and passed down for generations. Once the Buckhorn Lodge, today its a rare opportunity to own 360 acres, East Branch Tahquamenon River frontage, and a memorable piece of UP history.
